Run4UCampaign

The Run4UCampaign is off and running. Here are the first of what I hope are many names of people I will be running for the rest of ‘08.

Brenda Shoemaker, Sebring, FL- My momma. She has been on crutches for 25 years and before that a cane. She has been a true giant during all of  those years. She has raised two boys and worked everyday without complaining. She has been a loving wife for over 45 years.

Tessa Shoemaker, Sebring, FL- My beautiful niece. She was diagnosed with Lupus several years ago. It has been a real battle for her. Tessa has handled it better than most adults would put in the same situation.

Kayrn Luke, Sebring, FL- She is the mentally challenged daughter of one of my parents neighbor Judy.

Cliff Cambliss, Sebring, FL- The 50 year old autistic son of one of my parents neighbor Colleen.

The Abdella Family,Palm Beach Gardens, FL – Leo and Candy have been a real blessing to Laura and I over the years. Candy was diagnosed with kidney cancer late last year. She is currently undergoing chemo treatments. She is a real warrior. Leo and Candy’s  son Aaron is dealing with a mass on his kidney. He will have surgery on 3/25.

Ann Maki- My wife met Ann had church tonight (3/15/08). Ann had a brain aneurysm burst in November ‘07, She lost her sight for 7 days. She has been diagnosed with several medical issues. She stated she is  Christmas Miracle.
