When Life Throws You a Curveball

Hello friends. It has been a week or so since my last post. Life has been busy. Let me catch you up.

As some of you know the last few weeks, my life has been spent in and out of the hospital. It started on March 20th, when I spent 13 days receiving treatment to help keep me alive. At that time I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. This is a neurological and autoimmune disease. This is on top of the Parkinson’s that I was diagnosed with in 2007. There are no cures for either illness. Since the initial visit on 3/20, I have had two other stays at the hospital. Life has changed. Everyday is a new challenge. Life will never be the same. I have learned that even when life throws you a curveball, God is waiting with open and loving arms.

  1. I, too, have MG, although I am currently in remission. Good luck with your treatments. The Mayo Clinic in Rochester has some really great doctors. Let me know if I can be of any help. christiglaser.blogspot.com.
