A Rebel for Christ

Are you living a safe Christian life or are you a rebel for Christ? This is a question I have been pondering. Am I playing it safe for God? Not taking any risk for Christ. Just doing the church thing. I do not believe God created us to play it safe. In Matthew 7:13-14 Jesus states, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it”.  A lot of people are going down that broad road. A road that has it’s fun moments, but a road that eventually leads to death and eternal seperation from God. It takes a rebel to walk that narrow road. To not conform to this world. A road that leads to eternity with Christ.

I pray that Christians will get serious with God and walk down that narrow road. I include myself in that prayer. I also pray that  as Christians we will stop living a safe Christian life. That we will not hide behind  gated communities, but will go where Christ calls us to go.  That we will not get comfortable in our walk with Christ.  Jesus did not call us, His children to live out our faith in the comforts of 4 walls. Get out of your comfort zones. Be a rebel for Christ today.
