King of Pop Meets The King of King’s

According to some reports Michael Jackson accepted Jesus Christ three weeks before he died. The reports say that MJ met with Andre and Sandra Crouch and asked them to pray with him. I pray this report is true.

Life Update

•June 17, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Hello all. Here is a short update on what is going on in my life today.

I have returned to work part-time. Need to earn some money. I am still dealing with a lot of health issues. The doctors can not seem to get my breathing levels under control. That is the biggest issue we are dealing with at this time. Receiving treatments and taking a lot of meds. That’s my life at this point. I am blessed to have such great support. Thanks for all of the prayers.

Happy Memorial Day. Take time today to remember our current and past troops. They are the reason we have the freedoms we have today. If you have the chance, take the time to say thank you to a veteran. Keep our veterans and current troops in your prayers.

When Life Throws You a Curveball

•May 11, 2009 • 1 Comment

Hello friends. It has been a week or so since my last post. Life has been busy. Let me catch you up.

As some of you know the last few weeks, my life has been spent in and out of the hospital. It started on March 20th, when I spent 13 days receiving treatment to help keep me alive. At that time I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. This is a neurological and autoimmune disease. This is on top of the Parkinson’s that I was diagnosed with in 2007. There are no cures for either illness. Since the initial visit on 3/20, I have had two other stays at the hospital. Life has changed. Everyday is a new challenge. Life will never be the same. I have learned that even when life throws you a curveball, God is waiting with open and loving arms.

Back To Work

I will try to head back to work on Monday. I have not been to work since this medical crisis started March 20th.  I will only put in 3-5 hours a day to start. The doctors do not want me over doing it. It should be interesting. This has not been a vacation. I will keep you updated.

Back In Hospital. Not A Joke.

Back in the hospital as of 4/27. Having some issues with my breathing in regards to Myasthenia Gravis. Not sure about the course of treatment. I will keep you updated. Thanks for all of the prayers.

Home Again. Writing A Book?

•April 20, 2009 • Leave a Comment

I am home from the hospital again. The doctors shared I will need to take 3-4 weeks off from work. Not very happy with that news. My job does not really allow me to work from home. Just pray that God will use this time to teach me something new.

I have been asked by many over the years to write a book. Some folks think it would be inspirational. So I’m thinking since I have a few weeks off, I may start writing some thoughts down. I am not a writer. My prayer is if God wants something to come from this, He will allow the thoughts and words to flow.

Back In Hospital. Yuck!

Just a quick update. I am back in the hospital. The doctors are concerned that I am not getting stronger. They thought it best for me to get some additional treatments, before my health got any worse. I will be in for at least 5 days. Thanks for the prayers.
